Our private events and classes can be customized to any cheese lover’s needs. Whether you choose a dinner or an interactive cheese experience; in our event space, over Zoom, or at the location of your choosing; with coworkers or your closest friends... A Murray’s event is guaranteed to be equal parts fun and delicious.

From cocktail hours to seated dinners to expert-led cheese classes, Murray’s offers cheese-forward private events hosted within our flagship Bleecker Street location. We’ll work with you to customize the experience to your needs, for an event that will please every palate.
Murray's on the Move
Bring the joy of Murray’s Cheese to your home, office, or favorite venue. We can send a Murray’s expert to host a private cheese class at the New York City location of your choice. And with our Mobile Monger program, we’ll send a crew of experienced mongers and waitstaff to your party to create a bountiful cheese-focused spread and interactive stations, including mozzarella pulling, Parm cracking, and more.
Virtual Experiences
Gather family and friends for a digital party, or invite colleagues for an evening of tasty entertainment! We’ll send you a Zoom link and curate a one-of-a-kind cheese experience, starting with a shipment of cheeses and accompaniments for your guests. They can follow along online as they taste through our top cheeses from the comfort of their home.

When should I expect a delivery for class?

Deliveries arrive between two days before your class and the day of your class. They are sent via FedEx overnight with ice packs and proper packaging to keep the contents cold in transit. Two days before your scheduled class, FedEx will send the tracking ID to attendees via email. You will receive tracking information from FedEx when your box ships. We cannot adjust ship dates.
How Do I Buy Class Tickets With A Gift Card?

Please visit our classes page on Eventbrite and decide which class you would like to attend. Once you know your class title, date, and time, follow this link to give us all of your gift card information. We will process your request ASAP, and you will receive final confirmation of your class attendance in an email from Eventbrite. YOUR CLASS RESERVATION IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL THIS FINAL CONFIRMATION EMAIL FROM EVENTBRITE. You can also call the Murray’s Education department during business hours, Monday to Friday,11:00 AM- 4:00 PM ET, at 212-243-3289 ext. 642.
Do you ship alcohol as well for beverage pairing classes?

We do not ship alcohol, but we do share suggestions for sourcing items locally in advance. We also have an evergreen, digital Beverage Pairing Guide available for purchase with class ticket.
How many people do I need for a private experience?

We can host a minimum of 10. You can always host less, but we charge for a minimum of 10 participants. We can host as many people as you like!
What's included in a virtual class?
+
Each package contains different amounts of cheese and accoutrements. Please refer to our private event pricing sheet for more details.
Do we use your meeting’s platform or ours?

Totally up to you! We host via Zoom and can send you the meeting link to send to your participants, but we can be flexible and join whatever service works for your company or group.
Where do you ship?

All orders must be for U.S. delivery only. P.O. boxes are also not valid. Please double check your attendee shipping information! Any mistakes may hold up delivery.

Are Your Classrooms Wheelchair Accessible?

Our classrooms are located upstairs at our venue and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.
Where do you host these classes/events?

Our venue is located right above our Bleecker St. store (254 Bleecker St.), and there are two classrooms to choose from. If you want us to come to you, check out our Mobile Monger offerings!
How many people can I host?

We host a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 24 guests for private seated gatherings. For our standing event options, we can typically host a few more, between 30 and 40 guests.
Can I adjust my guest count?

We ask for your final guest count to be confirmed three days prior to your event. You have until then to adjust your headcount.
Can I bring in outside food or drink?

We allow both outside food and drink to be enjoyed after your class if you add on time to your event for a fee. There will also be an added corkage and/or plating fee.
