Traditionally, Swiss cow herders took raclette with them as they moved their herds through the Swiss Alpine pastures. In the evenings, they would place the cheese next to the campfire and melt, then scrape it over their bread, potatoes, or meat. We now use fancy machines, but those cow herders knew what they were doing! Come taste for yourself on December 21st!
